Good evening all, I'm writing a part of a program at the minute that obtains information about the user's hardware. Now most of the information that I want is in the WMI, however in the WMI I can only obtain the total clock speed of each core (i.e.
FSB clock * multiplier). What (Ideally) I would want is to get either the FSB clock and multiplier, but I can settle for one or the other as I can just divide the clock speed to get the other number, but WMI doesn't have these values (as far as I could see) and I'm sick to death of reading the WMI class documentation at the minute. So does anyone have any smart suggestions on how I could get the Frontside Bus multiplier or clock speed programatically? Thanks in advance, El Sid.
